Schools

A "federation" is a group of schools led by the same governing body, but remaining separate organisations (this is different to a multi-academy trust). The schools in the High Rocks Federation are a family and we share the same mission for the children in our care, whilst still maintaining our individual sparks and characters. We have worked in collaboration since September 2023, becoming a federation in September 2025.

Broadwater Down Primary School and Langton Green Primary School are both situated in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Broadwater Down is a small school with a strong focus on nurture and emotional wellbeing provision. It is an accredited NurtureUK school. Langton Green is a larger school with two forms of entry and a firm belief in the power of art, music and sport to complement and enhance basic literary and numeracy skills in child development. Together we are able to share expertise, best practice and staff development to do the best we can for the children across the Federation.
